Wera Werkzeuge GmbH is a company specialized in the production of screwing tools with headquarter in Wuppertal, Germany, and production in Bystřice pod Hostýnem and Třebíč, Czech Republic, as well as Taiwan.
In order to present the new products for 2022, several elaborately produced product animations and a short film were to be shown to a specialist audience at a dedicated trade fair, for which a cinema was rented. The whole trade fair was intended to look like a visit to the cinema.
Many companies would probably have given this task to an external company. Not so with Wera. Because they founded their own department for this, which will also be responsible for all the 3D content (e.g. on the website) in the future.
I was lucky enough to be one of the first members of this new team and was able to work on a product trailer and two short film episodes for 3/4 of a year while studying.
In this way I was able to expand my skills in the field of VFX.
